What is amazing about Titanic is the array of passengers who travelled on her.

She was a floating town, carrying passenger representatives from each class

along with valets, maids, nannies, kitchen staff, stewards, engine crew and officers.

On April 10, 1912, the RMS Titanic embarked on its maiden voyage, sailing from Southampton, England, to New York City.

One of the largest and most luxurious passenger liners at the time, the Titanic was also considered by many to be unsinkable.

Get closer to Titanic with incredible personal stories and discover lots of original artefacts.

The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic has what is generally recognized as the world's finest collection of wooden artifacts from the vessel.

    You can visit exhibitions to discover what it was like to travel on the Titanic in Singapore, in Belfast (Northern Ireland),in Atlanta (USA), in Orlando (USA)...

    Visitors get a boarding card  with a name of one of the passengers and they can find out what happened to them.

    They can also observe many  artefacts* and original items that were on the Titanic.

    *artefact (also spelt artifact) : an object that was made a long time ago and is historically important (for example, a tool, a weapon, etc...).

    The word artefact /ˈɑ:tɪˌfækt/ can refer to almost anything found at an archaeological site.

    Voici une série de liens proposés par la documentaliste pour vous aider à préparer l'ASSR.

    Entraînez-vous aussi souvent que possible au CDI et/ou chez vous pour vous donner toutes les chances de réussir.

    1) Eduscol : ASSR1 et ASSR2

    • Attestation Scolaire de Sécurité Routière de Niveau 1.

    Attestation passée au collège, en classe de 5ème, avant 14 ans.

    Elle permet de s’inscrire à la préparation du Brevet de Sécurité Routière (BSR) auprès d’un organisme agréé (auto école, association) afin de conduire un cyclomoteur dès l’âge de 14 ans.

    Attestation passée au collège, en classe de 3ème, en principe avant 16 ans.

    Elle permet de s’inscrire à la préparation du de l’épreuve théorique du permis de conduire dès l’âge de 16 ans afin de conduire un véhicule motorisé.

    Ce document obtenu après un test sous forme de questionnaire à choix multiples est obligatoire pour s’inscrire au permis de conduire.
